This vase was probably given by Elector Augustus the Strong of Saxony to the Russian court in 1728.

    Vaas van veelkleurig beschilderd porselein. De vaas heeft een porfierkleurige fond waarin twee langgerekte vierpassen zijn uitgespaard. Het iets bredere onderste deel van de vaas is wit gelaten, aan de bovenkant afgesloten met een gouden bies en versierd met ranken met grote bloemen en bladeren in goud. In de vierpassen is aan de ene kant een chinoiserie en aan de andere kant een dikke tak met Indianische Blumen geschilderd. De vaas is gemerkt.
