Two designs for candlesticks

Giuseppe Cades, anonymous [rejected attribution], c. 1795

The artist, probably a sculptor, represents candlesticks whose main component is formed of a human figure. They were probably intended to be executed in bronze. The style is strongly influenced by Italian models; it is conceivable that the drawings are in fact Italian.
