Table Screen
anoniem, c. 1100 - c. 1299
Southern Zhejiang Province had a long history of producing celadon ware. However, the Longquan kilns only reached full blossoming when the capital was moved to Hangzhou in 1127. The celadon glaze of Longquan ware encompasses hues ranging from blue-green to pastel green. This table screen is covered with a so-called ‘plum-green’ glaze.
