Springboard Diver Marjorie Gestring

The photographer John Gutmann caught the springboard diver Marjorie Gestring right at the moment when she was briefly suspended motionless in mid-air. Later that year, at the age of 13, she won a golden Olympic medal in Berlin, becoming the youngest gold medallist ever.
