Two designs for beds
anonymous, c. 1770 - c. 1780
In these two sketches an architect or decorative designer presents ideas for the curtains, plumes, coverlet and pillows of a bed. The beds are positioned with one of their long sides against the wall. Although the draughtsman has hardly indicated any details, he manages to convey his intention perfectly clearly.
