Explanatory note

  • Deze prent behoort tot de serie 'Specimens of polyautography'. Deze serie is een van de vroegste reeksen lithografieën in Groot-Brittannië en de eerste editie werd uitgegeven door Philipp André in 1803. Een tweede editie is uitgegeven door Georg Jacob Vollweiler in 1806-1807. De serie is door Vollweiler uitgegeven in zes delen met zes lithografieën.
