Portret van Karel I, drie kwart naar links gewend Carolus I. Hij draagt een zwart wambuis dat van voren met een rij knoopjes is dichtgemaakt en daarover een zwarte mantel waarop, op de linker borst, het juweel van de Orde van de Kousenband is geborduurd.
