Design for the Decoration of a Porcelain Vase

Anatole-Alexis Fournier, 1903

This drawing is slightly less finished that that for a ‘vase d’Annecy’ shown alongside. This ‘vase Chaumont’ was also going to be about 130 cm tall. The asymmetrical decoration of blossoming branches is strongly Japanese in feeling.
