Getuigd spantmodel op een standaard. Overnaadse enkelriems jol, rondspant met platte spiegel; een voorplecht, vijf doften en spoorstokken, en een open kajuit met zijdoften. Eenvoudig roer met houten helmstok. Het model heeft een emmerzeil als grootzeil, en een sprietzeil aan de druilmast en papegaaistok. Op het voorplecht een vlaggestok; zes roeiriemen. Schaal 1:20 (schaal op model).

Entry

Rigged wooden frame model of a jolly boat, mounted on a stand.

Clinker-built, single-banked jolly boat with a round bottom and a square stern (flat with a skeg). The model has a fore cuddy, five thwarts with stretchers, and an open cockpit with side benches. At the stern a basic rudder with a wooden tiller is indicated. The rigging consists of a main dipping lugsail, a spritsail mizzen with jigger bumpkin. The model has a flagpole in the fore cuddy and six oars.

The model represents a 5.68-metre-long jolly boat, constructed according to the regulations of the Dutch Navy of 1828.1J.M. Obreen, Catalogus der verzameling modellen van het Departement van Marine, The Hague 1858, no. 687; HNA 2.12.01 Min. Marine, Res. 20/11/1828 N9.
