Model of a Ship's Stern in Construction on a Shipyard

Constructiemodel van een achterschip in aanbouw op een werf, op een grondplank. Het is een spantmodel met senten op stapelblokken. Gewrongen spiegel met vier worpen en acht korte achterapostelen tussen de bovenste twee worpen, waarvan er zes ontbreken. Geen wulf, hek of zijgalerijen. Het model heeft drie spanten van oprichting, alle steekspanten waarvan de korte stekers ontbreken, en zwevende rantsoenhouten. Vier stutten en de hijspalen voor de achtersteven zijn gevonden; twee steunen en de hijspalen staan op platte ovale onderleggers. Op de zijden van de grondplank tien stoppers.

Construction model showing a stern in construction on a shipyard, mounted on a wooden base.

The model shows a frame model with ribbands resting on blocks. The model shows a round tuck with four filling transoms and eight vertical stern timbers, many of which are missing. The model has three station frames, all of them frame bends with missing short top timber pieces. The fashion frames are floating cant timbers. Four trusses and the sheer holding up the sternpost have been recovered. Two trusses and the sheer stand on flat oval sledges like girders. The base has ten bollards situated on the sides.
