Volgens Hollstein en het boek "Hercules Segers : the complete etchings" (zie documentatie) is deze prent een tweede staat van de tweede versie van het landschap met een waterval, gedrukt van een andere plaat dan Hol 21. Volgens "Grafiek van Hercules Seghers" (zie documentatie) is het alleen een andere staat.
