Bowl with flower sprays

The Yaozhou kilns in Shaanxi Province produced a wide variety of ceramics, but they were especially famed for their green-glazed stoneware. The body was largely coated with an olive-green glaze, while the base was only lightly brushed. Variations in thickness and colour tones were achieved by incising the surface.

    Kom van steengoed, bedekt met een donkergroen glazuur. De binnenzijde met een ingeperste decoratie van bloemranken; de buitenzijde met ingegrifte lijnen. Een barst in de rand. Celadon (Yaozhou).
