Service

Francois Marcus Simons, 1804

This service was created by the prominent silversmith from The Hague, François Marcus Simons. It was designed to be combined with porcelain tableware, such as plates and tureens. The bread basket, chestnut vases, candelabras, and candle holders are the most elaborately decorated pieces. Certain motifs, like the grapevines, appear consistently on the other components as well.<br>
