Candlestick

Johannes Grill, 1652

This candlestick probably served as the model for the three other candlesticks on display here. They were made for the Meerman-Deutz couple in Delft in the same year. The style of the four candlesticks corresponds with that of the ewer and basin, also owned by the couple, made by Johannes Grill’s brother Andries.
