De inspectie van een regiment cavalerie, wellicht door Willem van Hessen-Homburg. Landschap met een groep officieren te paard, voorafgegaan door een zwarte man te paard die de pauken slaat en twee trompetters. De vorst zit op een paard voor een rijtuig waarin een vrouw zit, links en rechts groepen marcherende soldaten.
