Entry

Polychromed wooden half bracket model of the starboard side of a three-masted ship, mounted on a rectangular wooden backboard.

The side of the ship is depicted by ribbands attached to frame moulds. The side above the wale is fully planked. Fourteen recessed and brown gun ports are situated on one continuous gun deck, thirteen oar ports or scuttles are on the lower deck. The model does not indicate any details of the forecastle or quarterdeck. The sheer rises towards both ends. Two wales and the sheer rail are indicated, the latter is painted black. The bow features an empty beakhead, the upper cheek indicated directly on the beakhead, and a black knighthead. The stern has a round tuck and a hollow counter. The taffrail is closed. The model does not have quarter galleries. It has a straight square-headed rudder. The hull is very sharp and painted white below the waterline. The position of three masts and the bowsprit is shown in a truncated form.

Scale unknown.
