Entry

Polychromed wooden half bracket model of the port side of an eight-oared jolly boat, mounted on a rectangular black, wooden backboard.

The side of the vessel is depicted by ribbands attached to frame moulds, the gunwale is planked. Four rowlocks are painted on the gunwale. The model has a pointed bow; the stern has a square tuck with a transom. The stempost is curved, the sternpost is straight and fitted with a broad rudder. The sheer rises towards both ends. One wale is indicated. The hull is S-bottomed and painted white below the wale.
