Glassware

This photograph is part of a large series assembled by Baron Alexander von Minutoli in the early 1850s. By means of good examples, he hoped to improve the quality of the production of glassware in his place of residence Liegnitz (now Legnica, Poland). All of the photographs in the series had to be hand-printed, hence they were ultimately much too expensive to reach the intended public.
