pen in inkt over een ondertekening in potlood, penseel in waterverf in groen, blauw, rood, geel en bruin, papier in verticale secties verdeeld en voorzien van een dubbele kaderlijn

Oorspronkelijk in omslag van roodkleurig halfleer en roodgemarmerd plat, dorso met ribben en goudopdruk; 71 x 99 x 6 cm. Plaa(t)s is Afrikaans voor boerderij (EvK). Ontstaan tijdens één van de vier expedities door de Kaapprovincie van oktober 1777 tot maart 1786.
