Gezicht op een (suiker)fabriek op Java. Enkele figuren op het terrein voor de fabriek, Rechts bij een rokende schoorsteen harkt een man stapels hooi of gras bijeen. Links een kleine brug, boven het complex wappert de Nederlandse vlag.
