Onchi Kōshirō, 1932

According to collector Elise Wessels, this is one of the most beautiful prints in the donation. Onchi made it for the exhibition that the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art organized for the 1932 Summer Olympics. His very bold cropping, both of the diver and the iving board, almost turns it into an abstract image.
