Paardenraces op de renbaan te Scheveningen in 1846. Drie paarden rennen langs de met vlaggen versierde tribune met het publiek, ook langs de hekken hebben zich veel toeschouwers verzameld. Rechts enkele paarden in een weide, in de verte de kerk van Scheveningen.
