The goddess Tripurasundari

In Hinduism, goddesses are as important as the male deities. For some, the Great Goddess, who has many names and takes different forms, is the ultimate reality in the universe, the creator and queen of the cosmos. One of these forms is Tripurasundari. She sits on a throne, towering above four important male deities: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Indra, whose much smaller figures form the legs of the throne.
