De bouw van het schip 'Argo'. Links wordt op het strand het schip gebouwd, vanaf de kade wijzen een groep Argonauten naar de zee. In het water enkele baders, in de verte twee zuilen die de toegeang tot de baai vormen. In de wolkenhemel rijdt Apollo met zijn zonnewagen.
