Goblet and Cover

anonymous, Jacob Frölich (edelsmid), 1550

The coat of arms and the inscription tell us that in 1643 this object – then almost 100 years old – was presented as a gift to the new overlord of Eisenstein (Thuringia).

    Bokaal met deksel van bergkristal in een montuur van verguld zilver. Als bekroning een zittende leeuw met wapenschild waarop een inscriptie van later datum: Marquard von Adelzhoven 1643.
