Lidded dish

Breisgau was the centre of German hardstone carving. From the mid-16th century, mostly objects with relatively simple decoration were made there.

    Coupe met deksel op voet, van bergkristal in een gouden montuur met translucide email. De voet en het vat zijn gelobd. Verticale gouden banden verbinden de lip en bodemrand. Op de bodem van het vat in translucide email een pelikaan met jong.
