Man op een rechthoekig grondje met het rechterbeen naar voren en het linker tegen een rotsachtige verhoging. Beide handen heeft hij voor de borst in het jak gestoken. Het hoofd met lang sluik haar, dat tot op de schouder hangt, is naar links gewend. Hij draagt een slappe hoed, waarvan de rand aan één kant is opgeslagen. Het lange, met knoop gesloten jak laat bij de hals iets van het hemd zien. Onder de korte broekspijpen afzakkende kousen en grote lage schoenen.
