Armchair Feet!
Ruud-Jan Kokke, 1999 - 2000
For designers, chairs often provide an opportunity to experiment with materials, shapes and construction. For this chair, Ruud-Jan Kokke relied on 60-millimetre square parts for all stiles and rails, a traditional Danish size for furniture makers. The material that was not structurally necessary was then removed, creating a robust sculpted form.
