As far as is known, Hoytema made only three posters in his life. Of the three, this one – with its soft colours and the charming creatures amid the text – is the most beautiful by far. The critic W.F. Gouwe felt that it ‘is one of those posters people would rather hang indoors, in places affording quiet contemplation; peacefully and in pleasant company’.
