The Battle of the Zuider Zee, 1573

De zeeslag op de Zuiderzee voor de rede van Hoorn tegen Bossu in 1573. De vloot onder leiding van Maximiliaan de Hennin, heer van Bossu, wordt op 11 oktober 1573 verslagen door de vloot onder bevel van Cornelis Dirckszoon. Afgebeeld is het moment waarop het vlaggeschip van Bossu, de 'Inquisitie' wordt geënterd. De lijst bevat trofeeën, stadswapens en allerlei attributen van de scheepvaart en oorlog op zee.
