Portaal in een traptoren met een afdalende man, vermoedelijk de situatie zoals het eruit zag vlak voor de aanslag op prins Willem I in het Prinsenhof te Delft. Op de trap wacht een hond de man op die met een stapel boeken naar beneden loopt. Boven de deur naar de trap staat een portretbuste, rechtsboven een wapen.
