Dummy of Dagboek van een erotomaan
Sanne Sannes, c. 1964 - 1967
Women were Sannes’ most important, if not only, subject. He spent several years working on a photo book entitled Dagboek van een erotomaan (Diary of an Erotomaniac). He alternated small photographs with large ones, fused them seamlessly together, partially cut them out, sometimes printed two negatives over one another. Sannes’s sudden death in 1967 prevented him from completing the design (the dummy).
