Technisch model van een achterschip met gewrongen spiegel en hol wulf en twee dekken; het model wordt in evenwicht gehouden met een loden gewicht. Recht roer met op de vierkante roerkop aan de achterzijde een getand kwadrant gemonteerd. Het stuurwiel heeft een as, die met het uiteinde in de spiegelbalk is vastgezet; een klein tandwiel op deze as grijpt in het kwadrant van het roer.

Entry

Technical model of a ship’s stern with a round tuck, a hollow counter and two decks. The model is balanced with a lead weight. It is fitted with a straight, square-headed rudder with a toothed quadrant facing backwards on the rudder head. The steering wheel has a shaft whose end is fixed in the deck transom. A small cogwheel on this shaft transmits the movement to the quadrant.
