Getting started with the collection:
Vase
Manufacture Oud-Loosdrecht, c. 1778 - c. 1782
The broad, straight-sided belly, strict linearity and ram’s heads on this vase are typical features of Neoclassicism. The Loosdrecht porcelain factory worked increasingly in this style over the course of its existence. This vase is one of a pair that probably graced a chimneypiece.
