Tea caddy (chaire)

The little containers for the finely ground green tea used in the Japanese tea ceremony are kept in specially made bags (fukuro). They also feature during the ceremony itself. A container can have several bags, each befitting the occasion of the tea ceremony or the season in which it is held.
