Model of the upper part of a made foremast with top, forestay and shrouds, the lower part of the fore topmast and the middle section of the fore yard, mounted on a base.
The mast is composed according to Seppings’ method. The purpose of the model is to demonstrate the parrel brace holding the yard, which can turn in any direction, and the chain preventer sling of the yard hanging from the mast cap. The topmast is secured with two lever fids.
