Marilyn Monroe During the Filming of The Misfits

The Misfits marked Marilyn Monroe’s final film appearance. For several years she was one of the most photographed women in the world. Although her death, at the age of 36, took place decades ago, she still lives on in countless photographs. A few photographers from the Magnum cooperative – including Eve Arnold – had obtained the exclusive right to shoot on and around the set during the filming of The Misfits.
