Entry
A pointed 18-cm shell.
The shell is 44.8 cm long and has a 175 mm calibre. It has studs for a rifled barrel with three grooves. The nose has a bottleneck shape and a fuse hole filled with a plug with a rope. The convex bottom is secured with a lead ring.
This shell has not been found in British literature on ammunition.
