Entry
Wooden half bracket model of the starboard side of a three-masted ship, mounted on a rectangular wooden backboard.
The side of the ship is depicted by ribbands attached to frame moulds. The side above the wale is planked. Ten recessed gun ports are situated on one continuous deck. The sheer rises slightly towards the stern. One wale is indicated. The bow features an empty beakhead and a knighthead. The stern has a round tuck. The hollow counter and the taffrail are closed and are both decorated with foliage carvings. On the taffrail a trophy with a rosette is shown. There is no indication of the presence or shape of a quarter gallery. Below the stern a straight, square-headed rudder is indicated. The hull is S-bottomed and painted white below the waterline. The straight keel drops slightly towards the stern. The position of three masts and the bowsprit is shown in a truncated form.
