Paar instapschoenen<BR />Geiten(?)leer<BR />Omstreeks 1540 worden de eerste instapschoenen gemaakt. Het hoge voorblad gaf moeilijkheden met instappen en tijdens het lopen. Om inscheuring te voorkomen en het comfort van de drager te vergroten, werd het voorblad vaak enkele keren op de wreef ingeknipt of -gesneden.<BR />Pair of shoes<BR />Goatskin(?)<BR />This type of shoes was first made around 1540. The high instep made it difficult to get into the shoe or walk comfortably.
