Vase (vase ballon)
Scenes of encamped soldiers were a speciality of Jean Louis Morin. He probably invented them himself and repeated them on Sèvres porcelain for years on end.

Description
Bolvormige vaas van veelkleurig beschilderd porselein, met een groene fond. De vaas staat op een voet, heeft twee opgebogen, voluutvormige oren en een deksel. Op de voorkant is een medaillon waarbinnen soldaten in een tentenkamp, kaartspelend op een trom geschilderd, op de achterkant een wapentrofee. De vaas is gemerkt.
