De snuifdoos is een 19e-eeuwse copy naar een doos van Jean Ducrollay, voorzien van valse 18e-eeuwse Parijse merken. Het origineel bevindt zich in de Hermitage in Sint Petersburg. R.J. Baarsen in: Murdoch & Zech, 2014.
