Jar
anoniem, c. 1279 - c. 1368
This jar was executed and decorated with great skill. On one side can be seen a dragon flying among clouds, and on the other side a fenix or a fenghuang in flight. The shoulder of the jar features a band of graceful chrysanthemum scrolls and above the base is a decoration of leafy branches. The jar was used to store wine.
