Model van een lichtopstand

toegeschreven aan Enthoven & Co., ca. 1866

Model van een lichtopstand op een grondplank. Het bestaat uit een metalen raamwerk op vier poten; de trappen hebben een tussenverdieping halverwege en hebben boven een valdeur. Op de bovenverdieping staat een klein huisje met trapezevormige plattegrond; in beide schuine zijden is een deur aangebracht, aan de korte zijde een klein raampje met een zeshoekig tafeltje aan de buitenkant voor een lamp. Schaal 1:20 (afgeleid).

Model of a light beacon with light, mounted on a base.

The model consists of a metal framework on four feet. The stairs have a landing halfway and run up to the top floor through a trapdoor. On the top floor a small cabin with trapezoidal floorplan is erected. In each of the diagonal sides a door is indicated, and in the short side a small window with a hexagonal table outside for a lamp.

The identification of this model is based on probability. In 1866, Enthoven & Co presented a model of a light beacon with a light to the Navy Model Room:1HNA 2.12.01 Min. Marine, inv. no. 4012. this might be the model referred to here. The original inventory describes it as a proposal:2J.M. Obreen et al., handwritten inventory list for items 944 to 1431, 1884, manuscript in HNA 476 RMA, inv. no. 1089, no. 1194. it is unknown whether it was ever executed at full scale.
