Guanyin
anoniem, 1368 - 1644
Guanyin stands on a dragon fish in order to be carried across the sea. Buddhist texts describe Buddha's body as being gold. Accordingly, sculptures of buddhas and bodhisattvas are usually gold coloured, a reference to their holiness.
