Description

In het bovenste kader van links naar rechts: 'coiffure' met linten, 'capote' van 'velours épinglé', tulband of 'turban Sylphide'. Onder drie vrouwen in een japon van effen fluweel, redingote van gebrocheerde zijde en japon van satijn. De vrouwen uit het onderste kader dragen tevens de hoofddeksels uit het bovenste kader. Prent uit het modetijdschrift Townsends Monthly Selection of Parisian Costumes (London 1823-1888).
