Net als de vaasjes AK-NM-6444 en de kommen AK-NM-6403 heeft dit exemplaar geen enkele decoratieve band om het oppervlak te compartimenteren. Daarmee zijn het de enige stukken in Royers famille verte die één beschilderde voorstelling hebben tegen een witte (in het geval van 6403 bruine) achtergrond. Bij de andere groepen – afgezien van het Overgangsporselein waar het juist de standaard is – komt het ook niet veel voor: de Kangxi-blauw-wit standaards AK-NM-6722, de famille rose vazen AK-NM-6352 en de famille rose kommen AK-NM-6354 zijn de belangrijkste voorbeelden van porselein met één voorstelling tegen een witte achtergrond. In al deze gevallen krijgt men de indruk dat het niet zozeer gaat om een versierd stuk porselein, maar om een schildering op een porseleinen achtergrond.
