Brass gun sight consisting two vertical bars with a sliding sight in between. On one side the bars have a scale, spanning from 0 to 17. It has a trapezoid foot, which was attached to a ring strapped around the gun.
The inscription ‘BEL. EN VEST.’ means siege and garrison piece. This gun sight was found without a catalogue number. The identification was by a process of elimination.
