Hallmarks on Silver project

Ellen van Bork, metal conservator, gives an introduction to the Hallmarks on Silver project. This project is building a central database of marks used chiefly on Dutch silver. By coupling the database to an automated recognition system, users will be able to upload their own photos of silver marks for comparison.
