Gezicht op een suikerfabriek (?) op Java. De fabriek is aan de rechterkant van een weg gelegen en omgeven door een witte muur. Bij een brug staat de Nederlandse vlag, in de verte een bergrug. Op de voorgrond een waterplas met een grote plant.
